I have a lot of lists in my life. A slight compulsion possibly — lists at work, lists around the house, a weekly combination of to-do’s both at work and around the house. Let’s say I'm “goal-oriented” (it just has a nicer ring than a lot of other adjectives that may come to more leisurely folks’ minds).
So naturally, I made a BIG life list of to-do’s. Some silly. Some tough. Some I may need a winning Mega Millions ticket to achieve. But all in an effort to motivate me to leave work on time, enjoy my life, and to not simply wait for great things to happen. In only one short year, my list has led to some amazing memories, stories, and accomplishments... but even more so, as I turn 30, I know with confidence that I have so many exciting and unimaginable adventures still to look forward to!
Now... the list. Created on April 16, 2007.

You know I am and have always been fascinated by your LifeList...welcome to the blogosphere!!!
xoxo
You should drink eight shotglasses of water a day. That's definitely doable.
I love and admire your list, especially how you organized it into categories! I might borrow that technique to shape-up my list (which tops out at a meager 35 items).
Anyway, I think life lists are a neat way to remind yourself to be excited about living rather than merely existing.
welcome amy!
I think 35 is more than enough items!!! 111 is definitely overwhelming...
good luck!
You kind of did adopt us for Thanksgiving the one year - sure, we're not needy or anything, but I was hugely pregnant....
I actually don't think your family counts as "adopting a family for Thanksgiving" since you're MY family!!! ;)
This is awesome Meliss!! You have just inspired me to get off my lazy ass and do something with my life... Have fun skydiving!! Oh and I love your new room.
